Today it occured to me that the belly button is the bodies plug
I looked down upon mine & put a corkscrew through it

Opening my body & letting it breathe

I go on to show you, trying to be proud

Ruining the moment with some pithy dialogue

Feigning social conciousness
Staring at you, doe eyed

Baring out my guts

Tormenting myself on whether or not you know I'm trying to impress you
